Hello again - Paradise Fears (Meet & Greet)

On Thursday I saw Paradise Fears, Alex & Sierra and Andy Grammer at the Fillmore in San Francisco.
The show was great and even though Alex & Sierra and Andy Grammer are not really my music genre the live performance was amazing and I had a really good time.
I originally bought the ticket in the beginning of January to see Paradise Fears. Here is a little background story about that!
Last September Paradise Fears played their first headline show in San Francisco.
When they announced the tour I didn't know them yet but I went because their special guest was Hollywood Ending (and I love their music).
I tried to get a photo pass and an interview and a couple of days before the show Paradise Fears agreed to meet me.
It was my first real interview and I was super thrilled. I bought all the songs they had on itunes beforehand and started loving their music as well.

On that day before the show I ended up spending over half an hour talking to Sam Miller (lead singer of Paradise Fears.) Here is the link to the Paradise Fears Artist Feature I wrote afterwards. This is actually a shortened version, my original was twice as long. (And I got a little frustrated about some of the changes.)

Anyway that evening turned out to be one of the most amazing experiences for me, that's why the two bands have a special place in my heart.

So back to Thursday, I met Paradise Fears again and I was really impressed. I asked if Sam remembers me from interviewing him and he answered "Yeah I remember. Lee Ann, right?!"
I won't lie - that felt pretty cool! I also got to talk to Marcus (Bass) and Michael (Piano) for a while that was fun and interesting as well! I guess I got a little bit more information than I was suppose to get! Hehe, don't worry your secrets are safe with me! ;)
They also gave a journal to everyone at the Meet&Greet with a few words and their signatures. I'm slighlty obsessed with notebooks so this was perfect for me.

This discribes me pretty well

Now to the show I sadly didn't get a photo pass in time for the concert so I wasn't allowed to use my DSLR. That's why I don't have a lot of pictures from the concert (and the ones I do have are quite blurry because I took them with my pocket camera from the distance.)
The show kicked of with Rachel Platten who has an amazing voice.
I was excited to hear some new music from Paradise Fears. Of course the set was not comparable to their headline show, but they played some new covers and had a mash up of some of their best songs. And in general they're always amazing live!
Alex & Sierra have a great live set as well. Especially given that they don't have a lot of instruments on stage. I was out and about the entire day so up to that point I hadn't heard about the dispute about "the color of the dress" yet. They introduced the question with an audience vote.
And I was blown away from Andy Grammer's set. During one of his songs he managed to make the whole audience do a little sidestep and it felt like I was part of a flash mob. I had so much fun during his show.
So if anyone is thinking about seeing any of them live - it's worth it!!
