Pacifica - The beautiful foggy side of the Bay Area

Why is everyone always complaining about the fog in San Francisco?

It's a different side of beautiful and the thing is, it only takes you a 15 min drive to go from foggy to sunny clear sky!

A couple of weeks ago I took a trip down Pacifica from north to south. Always on the coast line, therefore always on the beach and it was breathtaking!

Concert season is upon us!

I'm just done celebrating my birthday and now even more fun is about to come my way.

I have some great concerts coming the next few weeks. A whole bunch of my favorite artists are hitting the bay area, so get ready for a butt load of concert pics/interviews of All Time Low, State Champs, The Wonder Years, Paradise Fears & Yellowcard.

Actually the season got kicked off by my eventseeker colleague Dev's band called ISLES. They just released their album Bending Light and played Bottom of the Hill last night. 
The album sounds and looks amazing. The artwork is designed by their drummer and is worth checking out!

Audi R8 Sportscar Experience - Simraceway Sonoma

It's been a while but this experience is absolutely worth a post.
A while back my company took a little trip to Sonoma and I would like to share this experience since it was absolutely amazing!

I'm not going too deep into it but the bottom line: Audi is one of our partners and they invited us to take a ride in the new Audi R8 sports version. The cars were driven by professional drivers who took each of us for a lap around the racetrack - full speed of course. Pure adrenaline!

If anyone is interested you should check out Simraceway Performance Driving Center. They even offer professional driving lessons but you can guess it's quite pricey.

This was my car and my driver. "Crazy Tim" took good care of me.

Next to the racetrack is a GoKart racetrack. They got rid of all the casing of the karts which makes you feel like you're just driving a frame but it gives them some extra speed. Super fun!

Muir Woods - San Francisco Bay Area

The San Francisco Bay Area has a ton of sights to offer. Tourists are spoilt for choice. But there is one place that seems to attract especially European visitors.

The beautiful Muir Woods must be some of the most visited spots. And it's not very surprising. Everyone who loves to get in touch with mother nature will find some peace of mind in those idyllic woods.
From clover, bark and roots to deers and other wildlife, there is so much beauty to take in. And for all us nerds out there, who didn't dream about visiting the Forest Moon of Endor!
I can't believe it took me so long to go there, but I'll be back soon.
