Disclaimer - I don't really know what I'm doing

Hi,

so here we go. First off a little introduction. 

My name is Lee Ann. I'm in my twenties, I grew up in Europe and I moved to California about 3 years ago. Life is really different over here and - it's incredible. 

I was lucky to experience a whole bunch of things so far and cross off parts of my bucket list piece by piece. 

But that's not it. Over here I was able to follow my passion for writing more than I was able to before and in a way I never thought possible. 

It took me some time to feel comfortable with writing in English and compared to my first language I might sound a lot "simpler".

Either way I always prefered to write in a direct way without dropping a number of big words to make myself sound smarter. I feel like this way the text gets more character and readers can identify themselves better with it but it's also not what most publishers are looking for...

So my blog entries are not intended to sound super professional. I just want to write my way. No one has to "get me" because I know I 'm weird or let's call it complex and most of all I just want to have some fun sharing! =)
